Southampton FC Doubt Mohammed Salisu’s Commitment
English Premier League club Southampton FC have not been including Ghanaian defender Mohammed Salisu to their match day squads for fixtures.
The exclusion was widely associated to his recent injuries which prevented the player from participating in the two-legged international games for the Black Stars of Ghana.
According to the Athletic, Mohammed Salisu absence from recent matchday squad for Southampton games is due to doubts over his commitment to the club.
A player’s commitment is key to his performance in matches — which means that it is possible for Salisu to leave the club after the end of season.
Southampton are currently at the bottom of the EPL table. The have no or a slim chance of retaining a slot in the ELP next season.
